| EACH
DAY OUR LOVE GROWS
Each
day our love grows,
Sharper - like needles from the pine
Yet soft, like silk that's cotton-lined
Each day our love grows,
Wild - like the hungry, orphaned beast
Yet steady, like the sun's climb to midday peak
Each day our love grows,
Silently - like drifting, peaceful clouds
Yet with the resonance of thunder
Each day our love grows,
Fixed - like stars embedded in sapphire skies
Yet supple, like willows in a breeze
Each day our love grows,
Potent - like venom from the asp,
Yet gently, like the grace of maternity
